By sponsoring the conference, you can gain name recognition and receive various levels of exposure. If you are interested in sponsoring, please contact us. If you sponsor the RAAD conference, we will help you maximize your rewards.
If you desire to become a sponsor, please contact the Conference General Chair and/or the Conference General Secretary for more information:
Conference Chair: Štefan Havlík, email: havlik@savbb.sk
Conference General Secretary: Ivana Budinská, email: budinska@savba.sk
The official language of the RAAD 2026 conference will be English. All presentations, including discussions and submissions, have to be made in the official language.
As is customary at this conference, the Award Committee will select and present awards for the best student, application and scientific papers. These will be announced and presented at the closing ceremony of the conference.
The proceedings of RAAD 2026 will be published in the Springer series Mechanisms and Machine Science indexed by ISI. The proceedings will also be indexed in the Scopus and Web of Science scientific databases.
We highly recommend and encourage participation in the organisation of Special Sessions. These sessions should focus on a specific topic within the field of robotics. Please send your proposals by , to the Conference Chair’s email address havlik@savbb.sk.
The organisers will contact IFToMM to request support for two or three young students through the Young Delegates Programme, one for each student author of an accepted RAAD 2026 paper.
Bratislava is the capital of the Slovak Republic. Bratislava is in southwestern Slovakia at the foot of the Little Carpathians, occupying both banks of the Danube and the left bank of the River Morava. Bordering Austria and Hungary, it is the only national capital to border two sovereign states. Today, Bratislava is the political, cultural and economic centre of Slovakia. It has several universities, and many museums, theatres, galleries and other cultural and educational institutions. [source]
The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (FME) at the Slovak University of Technology (STU) in Bratislava is a well-established and leading institution for technical education in Slovakia, founded in 1940. It offers a comprehensive range of Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral programs in various mechanical engineering disciplines, including applied mechanics, mechatronics, production systems, quality management, and automotive engineering. The FME is known for its strong emphasis on blending theoretical knowledge with practical experience, utilizing modern laboratories and advanced teaching methods like e-learning. Programs are available in both Slovak and English, attracting a diverse student body. Graduates enjoy exceptionally high employment rates (around 98%) in various industries, both domestically and internationally, thanks to the faculty's close ties with major global companies such as Volkswagen, Kia, and Siemens. This strong industry connection ensures that FME graduates are highly sought after and well-prepared for successful careers in the mechanical and automotive sectors.
For each submitted paper at least one author must register. The paper will only be included in the Springer Proceedings book if both the conference fee has been paid and the paper has been presented.
Members of IFToMM will benefit from a reduced registration fee.
There are a number of accommodation options near the conference site. For example, the LOFT Hotel Bratislava is a popular choice known for its contemporary design and proximity to both the train station and the Old Town. Other highly-rated hotels in the vicinity include Hotel Saffron and Hotel Tatra, offering comfortable stays with good amenities.
